Learning doesn’t just happen. There are four stages to the learning process.  And children need a different type of support in each or every stage
  1. Motivation – the willingness to learn
  2. Learning how to learn – developing the skills that lead to learning
  3. Making school make sense – how your child can use their learning preferences to learn anything from anyone at anytime
  4. Moving to mastery – consolidating and extending school learning to reach their full potential
Children can struggle to learn because they are ‘stuck’ in one of the stages and unable to move on. When you know the stage(s) your child is struggling with you can provide support that meets their specific learning needs with pin point accuracy.  Then you can help them over the learning hurdle and move onto better learning. Take the stress out of helping your child learn stop guessing what support your child needs, stop wasting time and money on strategies that have limited effect.
